Look at the yellowing on the Aeromaster instructions!

The first thing that needed to be done was to remove the font canopy to repair some glue damage.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/9/2/2/1468922-23842-26-720.jpg)
The front windscreen had a huge glue melt-mark. I’ve toned it down a bit but not completely.

The new gunsight from the True Details resin set. Not bad…

The other issue was the large seam where the clear part is mated to the fuselage.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/4/0/2/1469402-23842-24-720.jpg)
It’s not perfect, but it is better than before.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/8/2/0/1473820-23842-47-720.jpg)
I used the Eduard Mask set here instead of cutting it myself.

The interior color has been applied. Now for the camo!

![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/5/9/6/1475596-23842-33-720.jpg)
The tail has been masked and painted flat white.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/9/7/1475597-23842-46-720.jpg)
Wing leading edges painted flat white. The chipped effect was achieved with a sponge and Gunze Mr. Masking Sol.

Another Phoenix build. While searching for a new build to work on after the Cheetah-D, I found this…
This poor kit has been sitting nearly complete since the late 1990s. I shall attempt to complete it a soon as possible.

Well the Cheetah has left the bench and the Warhawk has taken its place. I started my work by removing the front part of the canopy where there was a very prominent glue mark and also I began to fill the seam on the rear part of the canopy.

If that's not perfect, its very nearly so 😉 Super work on the canopy installation.

Thanks Robert, Roland, and Villiers! I'm very motivated by your responses.
Yesterday I spent the day traveling to my favorite shop Victory Models. It's 2.5 hours away, but it's always worth the time. I now have all the paint colors needed to complete this build. Today I smoothed out that seam caused by the rear canopy. It isn't perfect but I'm happy.

Thanks Bruce! That join was completed back in the 1990s. I finally sanded it smooth today 😂

Ok we're on again with this build. That Eduard Mask set took WAAAAAAY too long to get here from only 50 miles away. That's my fault for not purchasing from my regular shops. I will be spraying a Zinc Chromate Green first so that this color will show on the inside of the cockpit.

The camo is glorious, nicely done. Do you know why the plane has the white tail?

Thanks Robert! My understanding is that the white tail is a way to identify friendly aircraft operating in the area. I've seen similar white markings on New Zealand planes.

The decals have been applied. I'm happy to report that the Aeromaster set printed in 1995 worked perfectly.

Thank you very much Robert, James, and Roland! I get so much inspiration here, my biggest problem is deciding what to build next…
Oh and James I wanted you to know I'm stealth building a BMP-2. If I don't ruin the kit I'll post pics when I'm done.

Wow thanks Clifford, Villiers & Erik!
Erik: Yes I must have given up on it sometime in the late1990s. It had sat in its box 90% complete until last month 😂
