Beautiful work thats gone into that cockpit. A shame to fit it into the fuselage

Thank you Guy for a thumb!
@ Mr James - I would call that 'collateral damage' involved in this profession 😉. Maybe that's why I don't make any pre or postshading stuff at all, too much hassle with it and all effect is eventually gone...

The level of detail in this scale is impressive and you make full use of it. I like the paint job too.

Many thank Jan and Guy. I am actually pretty happy with this project... because I have done it the way I planned (which might sound weird) but whith my present skills that a kind of achievement. Anyway job done, time for the next one...

This model looks really impressive - although i am not a fan of heavy weathering (this plane looks like it was sitting on an island for more than 10 years) - but it looks WOW

Thank you Neuling, as usually appreciate your comments.
Thanks Markus. I was trying to keep the balance and not overdo with weathering wben doing this project though there are many pictures of Corsairs from those days showing that they were sometimes pretty filthy and worned out. I must say I was tempted to add more dirt, sand and chipping more in some areas. IMHO the one I did would be sitting on the beach no more than 10 months... 😉
I am really glad with your WOW !
