Really a nice job. The encrusted mud and added texture adds so much realism and interesting detail to the model.

Well thank you mates.
@Edouard I'm glad you liked it.
@Another bob, @Doubtingmango- I've only just added the crusty mud after recently buying EMNL 2.0 binder from VMS. I'm sure proper modeller's know about stuff like this but its new to me. Brilliant product.
@Joachim, I've seen other builds using dark backgrounds so I've tried to copy them 🙂
@Bruce. Thanks for your kind words Bruce.

Yes, a classic one, but a really good one😁
Weathering looks good👍
Even though the building is left over from an unfinished project, it is excellent as a backdrop!

Well thank you very much for saying so Simon. I must get round to finishing that building; along with all the other stuff I've started. Dont know if it's just me, but I cant seem to start and finish one project at a time. I get bored or see better built versions and start something else... 🙂

Thanks Neuling. Praise indeed. I agree that the Eduard set, just adds a few nice details to this old kit.

Hi Rui. No flash was used. I just turned all the lights off and used a little desk lamp as a light source. I use my Samsung camera phone for the pics. The black background is a black carboard box from a Revell X-wing kit.
Not very professional, I know... 🙂

I know how you feel about the unfinished things.
Think that's one of the big problems that affect us modelers 😉
I'm currently trying to redesign and finish one of my last 1/35 projects... is also a MiniArt building...
In any case, good luck with your old projects!

Great job, I really like the weathering and in particular the windscreen grime. The figure is very impressive. 👍

Lovely. I like the space around the subject. Tamiya get a lot of stick for their older figures, and I guess they are a bit hit and miss, but this fellow is perfect IMHO and really suits the subject.

Thanks for your comments Neil. Your right about some of the older Tamiya figures, some look like jelly moulds 🙂 As you say, I think this fella has decent details though, which I've tried to bring out.

Ha, cheers Spanjaard. It didn't cross my mind. I'll have a mess about and post some B&W pics 👍

Album info
My version of the Tamiya Classic Jeep.
I tarted it up with the Eduard detail kit and threw some mud at her.
The building is an unfinished Miniart Diorama.
