Built SOOTB (Before I knew better). Painted in standard USAF SEA camouflage. Added Modelmark decals for a SEA test ship, which amounted to changing serial number and adding a small black/yellow wedge shape marking to the tail. I remember that the u/c was very flimsy, broke often and was finally super-glued in place.

I have it in my stash, as a donator of a short nose, to be cmbined with a Hase F-111C long wing Vark, to become an F-111B.

Ooh, nice! I would like to see that one built! The Revell kit cannot compare to the Hasegawa series of F-111s released in the early 1990s. I just purchased the FB-111A kit for Christmas, which jogged my memory on building this beasty ala 1978ish. To me the Revell kit had a better nose shape than the Airfix/MPC F-111E which was too round. Fröhlich Weihnachten, Beste Burkhard!
