The Heinkel He 111 was a fixture throughout World War II, from the early days, to the end. What is lesser known is their use prior to September of 1939 & after May of 1945. This project is intended to highlight their applied use in conflicts throughout their existence by modeling them in 1/72 scale. For the moment I intend to model mostly WW2 machines but in addition I have one planned for the 2nd Sino-Japanese War & Spanish Civil War. I HAD planned to obtain the He-111C from Roden to build in Luftwaffe markings, after finding an image labeled as an He-111C-0 online, however as it turned out it was actually V16; An He-111G-4 with DB600s fitted.
IF I happen upon a parts kit or an He-111P being retired from a collection though I might just try a kit bash between the He-111P's wings/engines/landing gear & the He-111C's fuselage!
