Again, a lot learned in building this kit. Firstly, Airfix have made a good kit, there was no need to contact Customer Services for any reason. The wing building is excellent with positive locating slots and holes, no jig required.
My main errors were in not planning the build as well as I should have in particular, adding the cockpit cushions and windscreens after the upper wing is cemented is a nightmare, especially when they fall into the cockpit!
No, I haven't rigged it, I ran out of time and when I make another (one is in the stash) I will do the hold thing differently.
The provided jig to sand down the rear fuselage for the anti-spin strakes is helpful, but I managed to make a mistake resulting in filler being needed, a real case of file, check, file, check and repeat until absolutely happy.
Yes, I will make another.
