Tiny Hangar
After a long time, the ICM spitfire kit is done
The kit was too challenging for me but thanks to many defective parts improved myself
I used too much putty, sand, and blade
First of all, the main problem is the engine, which cannot fit with fusalage. There was a huge gap between the fusalage parts because the engine wall was too wide to fit, so I canceled the engine and glued fusalage parts without the engine.
Cockpit bottom piece overflows from the fusalage and hinders the wing fitting thus, I cut and sanded the overflowed piece, even if it was enough to glue it. Still, there was a gap, so I filled all the gaps with putty.
Also, some parts are not matching each other with panel lines. So we decided to send photos and problems to ICM via email, and after a few emails, ICM accepted the problems and said that we would send new spures.
All the problems announced me, moreover after the engine and fuselage problems I wanted to quit but I didn't give up and decided to complete and try the all techniques that ı wanted to try on the kit
So Spitfire seems to be so tired now 🙂
