Up-engined MkII Mustang FR919 of N.2 Squadron, one of only 50 supplied to the RAF.

Upper surfaces: Dark Green & Ocean Grey (Hu163? &106)
Underside: Medium Sea Grey (shallower line than shown on box - Hu165 or 156+34)
Spinner & band - Sky (5*Hu:90 + 4*Hu:65 , Hu:23, Hu:90)
Wheel wells - aluminium? (Hu56)
Cockpit - dull dark green (Hu149 or 117(?query 116?) or possibly 91/241)


Cf. Rick Kent profiles on IPMS - note presence of lower aerial under nose parallel with wing root, rear view mirror atop cockpit canopy, different position of fuselage letters (parallel with edge of cockpit canopy), lower last black band, different rear cockpit equipment (that in kit looks rather like P-51D equipment). Also, if US plane is to be made, note need to make DF loop antenna. NB wheel fairings modelled up.
