I'm having a problem with my project. Notice those bars at the side of the tank above the suspension. I have no clue what those round bars are and why they are stacked there. Could somebody help me by telling their purpuse?

Gun cleaning rammers or maybe camo netting supports???

Hi Darren, those are parts for the floatation screen. For crossing rivers a canvas 'bucket' could be built up around the tank. The tracks were used for propulsion.

thank you patrick, i was talking about this tank with some friends of mine and we came to the conclusion that it truly was an Ikea tank. so many extras and major improvements, it's quite remarkable what the swedes did with their tank.
