Without a doubt - the easiest build in the whole collection. Snip it off the sprue, then a coat of white followed by a coat of red. Ah well - it's here to fill in a hole. The AIM-4D was originally designated GAR-1, then F-98, before being designated as AIM-4. The feeling in the early sixties was that the era of the fighter was over and future conflict would be fought with missiles, and so the F-series designation. One other missile also received an F-designation: the F-99, or IM-99 Bomarc. That (and some used F-101 Voodoos) was the missile that Canadians got in exchange for dumping the CF-105 Avro Arrow. What a waste!
