Shelby Mustang GT 350H

This kit called for stripe gold decals on the hood, trunk (boot), front and rear bumpers and rocker panels. I was only successful with the roof. This was largely due to shaky hands, ignorance and impatience. I painted the breather shroud on the hood hoping to help the look.

I had an amazing paint and varnish job done (I don't have an airbrush) with my acrylics and Royal paint brushes. I also did a good job on my windows because I finally listened to the masses and used clear Elmer's (equivalent). Good tip!

THEN..... by the time I installed the tub (cockpit / interior) and glued the chassis in place my beautiful paint job was no longer beautiful.
So I took the lazy way out. I wiped off what I could, slapped another coat of paint over it and two coats of varnish. I use Pledge furniture wax. I had a brain-fart and used a Kleenex (facial tissue). Won't do that twice, back to a non-lint application.

It was a good kit. I'd recommend it.
