Assembled the floor pan & got primer on the body shell after many hours filling & grinding the glass canopy & shell halves for a decent fit.
For a fairly recent reissue the moulds are shit, flash everywhere too.
Good job it's got so few parts of I'd feed it to one of my boxer dogs.
I have no patience, can you guess?

Bit of shiny Tamiya X-7 Red on the interior tub, seats & dash & a quick mock up to make sure it still fits.

Axles & suspension installed, tiny fiddly shocks tested my patience!
Bottom half of body tub painted Tamiya X-11 chrome silver.
I brush painted the lower tub but I think I'll spray the top half thru the airbrush.
I'm considering a sparkle clear coat over the entire thing (event the moon surface) so opinions please......

A few coats of Tamiya X-11 silver are now on the top half of the body tub.
I shot it thru my cheap crappy gun, now waiting a day for it to harden enough to polish.
It has a nice tight metallic fleck to it, quite happy with it!

This is testing my patience to the max, trial fitted & mocked up s load of times & fitted great.
Now???? ......... no chance!
I'm going to get the tooth bastard known as Eddie to have a word with it 😉
