One of my first helicopter kits. I was a fan of Magnum PI's Hughes 500 so I painted the Tamiya OH-6 in a livery that superficially resembled TC's Island Hoppers' 500 from that series and also replaced the OH-6- low skid landing gear with the higher skid gear from the then just released Academy kit. Boy was I an idiot! Nowadays I would gladly donate a kidney for one or two of these Tamiya 1:48 '500's/ OH-6's!
