I'll be building it and displaying the box, my friend. Perhaps not a wonderful old kit but I think it'll be fun to have the old one next to the new tool Coupe I built previously. I also have a glue bomb rebuilder of it which I'll need as this poor thing has some of the worst tire burn I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. 😂😂

I believe that it's the first tooling of the kit I have? I made myself a promise, that one day, when I get the space, I'll display all my first editions. However, right now, I can't swing a bloody cat, in my cave, for all the kits I have! Thankfully, the Mrs is home now, and already into her first kit, so I've got some help.

Yes indeed. New tool in 1963! And with a lovely box too. It will display beautifully. The kit shows its age of course but I believe I can build it up with some semblance of decency. I have too many kits as well! If only I could get my wife to build some. 🤣

Thankfully, I have a good selection of 1/24-5 kits, but she's not touching my 1/16 trucks. My next one is gonna have all the bells and whistles 😉

Definitely! I picked up some paint on Sunday, mainly primer, including filler primer, for my resin stuff. But I also picked up some Tamiya Lacquer paint, to give it a try? I'll do a few test runs with it, before I commit to anything, but I have confidence. If I'm right, I'll be stocking up on it.

Oh yeah. I like Tamiya's lacquer line!! It sprays pretty nice!

Thinned for spraying right around 50/50 depending on the consistency you like. If your brushing, it does dry pretty quick so you may wish to thin it a bit for that as well. My experience only.
