@Miguel - the water is mainly epoxy resin tinted with light transparent blue, let that set and then built up the waves using AK water effects which isn't fully clear when it cures, then finished off using AK water foam effects for the white foam. Along the way I used an airbrush to create the natural shapes of the waves & foam and a damp piece of foam for the bubbles.

I would have bent the propeller more -- unless it landed gear down, slid across the sand and then sunk into the sand. What is your scenario for this scene, Ludwig?

@Snake - it is in fact based on historical references, bases on what I read the pilot decided to land on shore/close to shore rather than the sea on the way to Malta. I assume it was a controlled deadstick landing hence why the prop is not bent. Another theory is that he landed in the water and aircraft got washed back towards the beach.

Very nice model, I'm going to build the RS01 with the decals from Xtradecal and the conversion from Sema Models.
I'd like to order some extra interior from Big Ed, but don't know what model to use HAS.5 or HU.5
Did you start from the A11006 Airfix HU.5 ?

Hoi Luk, bedankt alvast! Zelf ben ik gestart van de Duke Hawkins doos, maar dit is inderdaad de A11006 Airfix HU.5 doos.
Met wat extra's zoals de kleine Sema Models upgrade set, masks & Xtradecals. Wat het interieur betreft, daar heb ik enkel de meest zichtbare elementen aangepakt, zoals de stoelen voor de diver en medic, en de stoel voor de sarso (navigator). Verder heb ik het interieur niet echt aangepakt.
Zelf ben ik van plan om de andere 4 Sea Kings ook nog te maken, maar daarvoor ga ik wachten tot Airfix de Royal Air Force variant uitbrengt, deze is een stuk gelijkaardiger zowel binnen als buiten, aan de Belgische MK.48.

Succes met het bouwen alvast! Is een heel fijne kit!
