Mate, I think you should put the windshield uspside down. The ángel does not cope with the real one as I see on photographs.

The windshield is not an isoscelles triangle so the windshield has not a 45 degree ángel over the capot. Please, see these example of a TA-152 (and please, mind It is 35 years old and I was only 13 when I drestroyed It).
I think an easy solution can be made. I do not want any mate to be anoyed by an engineering issue. I had them everyday (it's my job, Factory engineering problem solving, known as 'shit managing") and It can destroy your mojo.

After several hours of sculpting I got the canopy to fit better. I will continue with it tomorrow.

On the other hand, I think another 3D engineering guy needs to stop drinking and 20 years of 2D drafting. The fitting is worse than I could imagine. But I see is no a problem for a seasoned mate like you. Great work, mate!

Following. I build this kit several times in older versions. The fit of the canopy is realy sh*t. My solution was (with about 10 years) to sand the backside of the windshild till it fitted. Of corse so most of the frame is missing.

Sergio the TA 152 had a very different canopy than the 190. The 152 was designed for high altitude flying, was pressurized and had double panes.

Thanks you, Skyhiker: I think I can remember now, as I researched about FW190 and TA152 black in the 90's. Also, canopy is bubble-shapped. Sorry, my FW190 Mustang have been gone forever, I expent the night trying to find It, just to find my solution, but I think only the reta of the TA152 has survived.

Gorby i didnt convert anything, just stuck some left over parts and a broken sherman together lol. But yeah i have been exercising my imagination. Even came up with a name for the contraption. Its called the ✨✨✨ "MX4A1" ✨✨✨. A now retired and discontinued bunker buster kamikaze sherman M4A1 with the capability to fire two unguided missiles

The Ju 86 which were seen in 2 different Austrian markings, but at the end was never part of the Airforce. Here the overall silver Ju86 #311 at the airshow in Vienna-Aspern in early 1937.

The mention aircraft was sent to the Airshow in Aspern as a "demonstrator" in austrian marking. Austria was interessed in buying 18 Ju86K-7. Due to several reasons Junkers was not prepared for that airshow and on short note removed the markings of an 86K-2 that was already prepared to be sold to Sweden. They put on austrian markings, a service number #311 and flew it over to Austria for just this one day. Flight captain Behrendt did a good job and the aerobatic air-display was a great success. So far so good. Why I am telling this? 86-K2 is a differend engine and cowling. The box is a 86E1/2. Aftermarket conversion products are out there (Kora) .....I had difficulties to locate/buy some.
Therefore: it is Scratchbuilding time again !!! 😎

Thank you Alec, Thomas & Cuajete. When I had finished I thought: "Grab, overdone. This bird was for sure not that worn as it went to the airshow more or less fresh from the manufacturer." But the more looked at it the more I was okay with the result. So your comments are welcome and soothe my concerns. 👍

Don't worry Juergen, even on new airplanes there are sometimes clear visual differences in the sheet metal. For example, some manufacturers deburr the rivet holes with a grinding machine, the sheets are made of different alloys or are applied with different rolling directions, all of which have an influence on the appearance. I like it.

My tracks snapped overnight after the washed! I replaced them with old Tamiya tracks and added a recognition flag on the back (added pics)

Very nice! Please, note that the Italian flag in the ww2 was different in that it had the Royal family's icon on the white stripe

You are correct Davide! I attempted the correct flag multiple times with a print out, but the ink kept running. I used acrylic paint to do a simple Italian tricolor. Maybe the crew had a few too many close calls with the stukas and made their own simple tricolor?
