Davy VosThanks all! Spanjaard en Transall NG, I made the waves with a product called Mod Podge. It a bit like pva glue, dries transparent. It's a decoupage product, I learned this from Boulder Creek Railroad on YouTube.

TreehuggerI saw the first photo with metal finish and mistakenly thought this was finally someone posting a metal foil project. 🙂
I want to use metal foil, but so far haven't tried it. I think I've learned that, just like putting on a metal finish with airbrush, every tiny blemish standing out if the surface isn't smooth, the same with metal foil I think. Any dent or scratch will eventually show up in the foil as a blemish I think.

TreehuggerQ: When you airbrush on metallic paint, do you airbrush it wet-in-wet, or multiple very thin layers of "dry" metallic paint?

Kerry COXAugie, Lode, and Gorby, , I am really pleased you have dropped by and had a look at my latest project.
Being a post stroke effort, It took a lot of effort to push the fine work side of the build to get a result.
As far as complexity goes. This is one I will never forget tackling.
Being a new kit from Airfix, I am expecting a whole squadron of buillds on the competition table from those who have taken as much time with their builds as I have.
I loved every second of the time spent,
