Clubmobile
The right stuff
Trying to copy
This fancies more
A day at the races
So, as finally better pictures came through, I was able to create Donut machine 1.1, adapted a cabinet in the truck, and now the measurements are much better
Last days made some hatches for the loudspeaker and external power supply, and the doughpan
Scratched roof vent
Bullbar from Rescuemodels
The new bar with PE parts
Lenghted the chassis, turned the front wheels, scratched a watertank
Some steps from coffee sticks, with 2 figures it looks like this is how it will be. June 5th, ‘44 Upottery Airfield
The XF -54 turned out much too dark
So the Xf-80 (Royal Light Grey) looks much better
And the Nissenhut from DioDump arrived also. I’m very happy with it
The right side was all wrong #CMK
Almost there with the trailer and power unit
Experiment in making Mae West B4 life jackets
So, a productive day. The GMC primered and a basecoat of Tamiya XF-80 (Royal Light Grey).
The Clubmobile structure is only primered ((Mr. Surfacer)

Some basic painting
And … gone is the engine.
I like the grey and the OD together.
I like the grey and the OD together.
This is how CMK suggested the lengthening of the chassis
So here sits the spare tire
Chopped the cmk solution off
Build a new chassis expansion
Check, backside ready, now waiting for some ordered brass L-profile (2x2) to build the folding stepladder
Finished the building task on the chassis
Time to sand primer
After 3 days in the spray booth
Finally the decals arrived
Took me quite some thinking how to solve the poor pe “hinge-irons”, it worked with some pe wingnuts and evergreen 1,5 mm angles
Made new irons which hold the shutters, the angle of the original (pe) parts were wrong
And the backside door too
Glued the structure on the chassis and started with washes
Gear of the parais painted. The Mae West scratched
Still some work at the pants
She needs a (uniform) makeover. Still struggling an delaying with it
At last… from the 8 nurses two made it. (Severly scratched)
The girls are happy with their tan and make-up.
the grass has been sown
Point of no return, the GMC glued to the vignette.
I’m almost there now
I’m almost there now
a new nurse appears on the scene
And some help at the generator came in from mate Miguel (Thanks ??)
Last painting on the nurses and the mechanic (he threw away his Camel to have a donut

After started last year I ran into a lot of problems with the CMK conversion kit.
Very poor fitting, so I started to scratch.
