Yesterday: rain. Tomorrow: rain. But today a little bit of November sun 🙂 So after a very light weathering I tried to shot some outdoor pictures.
When I got home, I realised that the mechanics had to clean the windows again!
I must have had my masks on for too long and the air outside was damp, so they are a bit cloudy in some of the pictures. I have now removed the glue with white spirit.

Impressive photo of the finished model! 👍
I'm sure that after the photo shoot was finished, the pilot came and flew the Piper. 😉

Thank you very much mates! Your feedback is highly appreciated 👍
@Spanjaard Recently Bruce Huxtable posted for another model "When the gallery looks like a walk-around, it must be one of yours!" and it looks like I reached this again 😉 Good to know, as the way to reach such a result is hard sometimes. It also has the disadvantage that some mates scroll over it and think "reference photos again".
I think it is in real even more impressive, so I will bring it to the EME 2024 so you have a chance to see it with your own eyes.
@Ludvík Thx for the warning: I've locked it safely away in my display case to prevent a pilot from stealing it!

Thx Erik! I hope you have a chance to see this (and the other birds) with your own eyes somewhere in 2024!

Servus Frank, simply wow.
Outside the yellow looks a bit orange, but on the last pics I miss the "Posthorn" 😉

I'm delighted, Christoph, if I can still impress you a little. Even if without a post horn 😉

Takes a second look to identify it as a model. All those little details add up to a very realistic appearance. The photo setting definitely adds to it too.

Great! Using of Gaspatch make the difference! Leading edges of the prop made of bare metal foil? Würde ich gerne live sehen… Nimm sie bitte bitte mit nach Lingen 2024. 🙂🙂🙂

Thanks mates!
No, the brass on the propeller is painted with Alclad, see here: A little Piper | Album by bughunter (1:48)
I will have all the latest models and some of the older ones with me in Lingen for sure.

Album info
This seems to be the first Piper Cub finished on Scalemates, at least with pictures. I'm happy with the outcome, even it is not perfect.
I t is a nice kit worth to be built.
BTW, this is the finished project number 7 of the year.
