Very nice work indeed! Your whole setup works well! Unfortunately, some of the photos are too bright to see details, but I can tell it is a very well done job. Love the way the black undersides look! Great!

@ Barber: I know. I have to improve my skills to take fotos. But I assume that it is not easy in this case because the contrast between upper andlower surface is so strong.
@ stefan: This is an interesting point of view

I have the same problem whenever I do not have proper lighting. If you have a DSLR camera you can make wonders. (for example do not use flash at all, plan your lighting at the desired angle and decrease your shutter speed - tripod is essential). Even without a DSLR you can still do it, it depends on how much time you are prepared to spend on it. I am usually too anxious to move on to the next project and leave photo sessions for later (even though I have a very good DSLR) 🙂

Yes its sometime real not easy to make proper pix of a model. I do work like in the neolithicum, just a digicam and and i go on!🙂 No special light, no tripod just flash if necessary... I still have to improve that!

I´ve got an DSLR but not for so much time. I have to get some experiance with it. I also tried with artificial light but it was to bright. Especcially the upper surface. Thats why I imagine that it depend on the strong contrast.

The strong contrast makes it more difficult, but I would suggest that if you have some time try again with progressively lower shutter speeds and no flash. Also increase iso speed and lower your lighting. At longer exposures you don't need that much light. Just make sure you don't shake the camera or the subject. There are other ways to tackle it, even with flash, but it takes more reading and practice. I am sure you will succeed when you try it a few times😉

Wenn du vorhast die zu bauen, solltest du vorher schon den Platz zum Aufstellen reserviert haben.

Hello Mates,
four additoional fotos have been added. They show an improvement of the diorama - a camouflage net how it was used to cover the whole splinter box . To allow the view on the rest of the diorama the net has been built only partly.

Fantastic diorama Christian, this is my favourite German aircraft. I will look lots more at this one when I start to build mine again. Thanks for showing all the photos.

Thanks Bill. In deed it seems that it meets the taste of the public. Meanwhile it won several first places at different competitions.
