Here's my Hasegawa 1:48 RF-4C completed. This was purchased from EBay and had the inner fuselage & Black Box cockpit prepped for assembly. Sadly the previous owner passed before any further work could be done. Excellent assembly by Mr. A.D. Frye on the cockpit made the rest of this build an absolute breeze. I hope he would have enjoyed how I completed the kit.

It is an interesting story about the previous owner, which makes it unique, and it is a lovely end result that I am sure the previous owner would have appreciated.

Thank you Rando, Rui & Jennifer!
Jennifer: I felt almost honored to build this kit. You could tell that great care had been taken in the preparation of the resin cockpit as well as the fuselage interior in this area. The whole thing just dropped right in with no problems at all. I emailed the seller to enquire if I could have his father's name because he certainly deserved credit for his efforts.

That's really cool that you honored Mr. Frye. I think he would have loved the outcome.

Thanks John! It makes me happy to hear that. Judging from Mr. Frye's work on the cockpit he was headed towards something dazzling.

Thanks Dutch! Also thanks Neil & Guy! I must have missed your comments in May. I'm thinking of taking this along with the Su-25 builds to Modelpalooza in October. I have a vendor table so I'm definitely going.
