One peculiarity of the Hobby Boss Liberator in 1:32 is the impressive size of the resulting model - somehow the giant's span, which is quickly too long for the limited airspace above a workbench, has to be managed!
Very early on in the building process, the building instructions mercilessly demand that the wings be attached to the fuselage in a way that cannot be solved and graphically depict this as unavoidable - and this is precisely the point that brought me to this appendix to the gallery of this project...

I dared to saw off the massive attachment points that would connect the wings to the fuselage. The hope of obtaining removable wings was fully realised; the subsequent construction was made much easier by the possibility of finishing the fuselage and wings separately. The subsequent stowage of the giant is of course also made much easier - one way of doing this is illustrated by these pictures.

Long story short: don't be afraid to keep the wings separate - it works wonderfully!
