A winter camoflaged Sherman
Crew from the kit and spare box, slightly converted
Build the tank in about three hours OOB.
Primed…
Some high lights
Olive Drab and primer
White washed
Need a bit of blending.
Decals and tracks done
Some more weathering is necessary to tone down the decals.
Added some mud to the running gear
Mud on the tracks.
Started the stowage
And it is not done yet
Tank is more or less finished
Base, figures, snow and mud next.
Started a simple base for the Sherman
First time using AK snow.
For a first try it is not so bad…
…but I think it needs a bit more.
Painting some crew and the assault team. At this stage I will assume they are about 40% finished.
Preparing some personal weapons for paint
All the boys har a gloss coat and the assault team has their weapons. Next step is a wash.
Tank crew and assault team finished.

Mr JamesGreat work on the winter wash, and the mud is really good. Great dio scene with the muddy snow. Lovely build

Erik TorpFinished this project this evening. It took about three hours to build the tank, a lot more hours to paint it. The kit is a good beginner kit since it is easy to build and you got both figures and stowage. However, I prefer kits with more parts and better details. The Tamiya Sherman fits like Lego but it is soft on details.
