Carlos CisnerosI suppose that the rest of the war on the Eastern Front after 1941 could be considered an extension of Barbarossa. 😉 Much like the western Allied advance after Normandy could be called an extension of Overlord. But each German offensive after being thrown back at the gates of Moscow in December 1941, technically the "operational" end of Barbarossa, had a new operation name.

Martin OostromDon't worry about where she is or went. She survived the war and was sunk as USS Prinz Eugen. You can always make her a wreck.
And painting white over coloured plastic is easier with a grey primer.

Kesa TihoI know, i just feel like i have to give an exact location of where she is. And i know primer makes it easier but i cant bother and it makes my brushes rock hard afterwards. Though maybe. Maybe ill do it.

gorbyNice progress Kesa. White paint is usually a paint to apply, I've heard people complain about other companies white.
Incidentally, I recommend using a small plastic pot so that you don't end up loosing those little parts. If you don't stop them escaping they tend to wander off. 🙂

Kesa TihoPre painted AND snap fit? Id expect something like that from Revell or Zvezda but Meng? I think 14 year olds are more than capable of glueing and painting. I mean I'm 12 years old and I have glued and painted a ship about the size of that, not even talking about a 1:32 F-14A which albeit was painted badly and theres a lot of other bad stuff about it, still. I know its nothing but something about a Meng kit being so simple feels wrong.

Kesa TihoDoes anyone know if the zvezda 1:72 armour kits have decals with them? Im planning to build a little warzone with german tanks but i dont know if the zvezda kits have decals or not and i need the decals. I would just buy the Italeri versions but they have a lot lower part count and are more expensive.

Kesa TihoIs there a phobia of Tamiya warbird collection kits? Cause if so i have that. I dont know why i fear them, why i feel sick upon the thought of building them. Ever since the build i did with my cousin: Making an F-51D with my cousin | Album by Gasmask (1:72) i hate the idea of building models like that. And its not the entirety of 1:72 plane kits, i actually really want to build a few 1:72 planes but just from other companies. Does anyone know of a cure?

Kesa TihoAnd ill look out for them Martin. Ill just be at my local model store, looking around. Then i faintly see "plastic made in italy" written somewhere on a tamiya warbid collection kit. My skin turns pale, i let out a blood curling scream and run for my life. Never to go back there again.
