Hi,
here the next step. First I removed all details in the inside of the wheel bay.
After that I started to build the side walls with plastic sheet and filler.

After that, I put all parts on the body.
So far for the moment.

Hey Stefan! I like your "Jaws" A-10! Didnt knew that Italerie makes their own aftermarketstuff... Hang in, it looks really good so far!

Hey,
I forgot to say that it was an test if the fitting accuracy is OK.
But it was good to see the dimensions of the A-10 🙂

Hi,
next steps were the engine and the engine bay. First step was to coles th ebig hole with filler.
After that I adapt the fan blates from Wuickboost to the detail set from Italerie. Therefore I had to cut a little bit from the details set.
The Last part was to clean the cover of the engine bay.

Hi,
the engine is ready. Last steps were to vanish the engine with ALCLAD Steel an Aluminium. After that I put some cables onto it and put the engines onto the body.
After that I put some cables and sheet into the wheelbays. For more I had to built new wheelbays but that to much work. For me it´s enough.
Now it was time to put the wings onto the body. The Next steps will be the filling of the glue points.

Hi Folks,

Thanks Holger. It´s a lot of new work. It´s the first time I tried to braze photoetched parts. It´s new, but cool

Hi,
next steps were done. I used the colour from Gunze and Revell Aqua Color.
From Gunze I used H307 and H308, from Revell 310.

Hi,
@ James
Sorry for my late answer. Hhm...it could be that there are some Problems between the wings and the Body. I had some Problems with the Fitting.
The rest of the Modell was good to build.

Hi guys,
thank you so much for your positive comments.
Sometimes it was really hard to build the A-10 but anyway it was fun.
Let´s take the next modell 🙂

Looks amazing! I have this kit as well, but I can't find the detail set anywhere now unfortunately. I do have the cockpit though. Anyhow, I will be lucky if mine will turn out even a fraction of how nice this looks!
