You don't see many M-48 these days. Thanks for sharing your excellent model, Jürgen! Except for searchlight, smoke grenade launchers, tail-lights and Leitkreuz (no idea, what this would be in English), what other changes did you have to do for the BW version?

I found a conversation kit with the necessary parts on ebay. Don't ask me for the manufacturer. It was originally designed for an IDF-M48. The hatch of the commanders cupola and the hoop guards of the headlights had to bee replaced.
Also the engine deck in the rear of the upper hull was replaced. The quality of the resin part was so bad that I just cut out the engine deck of the resin hull and the tamiya part as well.
The smoke grenade launchers were sponsored by Revell. I asked the department X for the parts and got them free of charge. The front marker lights are parts from ROCO minitanks. I think that they are to big for 1:87.
