Cool build, padawan! The force is strong in you!;)
Why did you need much thinner? Did the colour clog?

Hi Holger, you can spray every VModelColor with the airbrush (these colors are a little bit thick, prepared for brushuse) , but the secret is the quantity of thinner and for this colors you need a lot of...🙂

Hi Fellas, I´ve tried Vallejo Air Color, thined with water. Some model buddies said, it works. I heard it too from a belgian modeler. But it doesn´t work. Every brush I had a lot of splotches or, when I make it thinner, it runs everywhere. 🙁

Thank you all...
Mike is right, the VModelColor are much thicker than the VModelAir, so you need more thinner to get them through the airbrush.
@Arne, for Vallejo paint you have to use the Vallejo thinner or cleaner. I have better experience using the Vallejo airbrush cleaner fluid.

Arne, try for the VModelAir paint the ratio (paint/cleaner) 1/1 or 2/1 for very fluid paint.

@Robert - Do you mean the Airbrush thinner with the No. 71.361? This one have a new recipe. I use this thinner.

@Mike normally I use the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner (71.099: 85 ml/71.199: 200 ml) to thin VModelAir or VModelColor paint. But you can also use Airbrush Thinner 71.361. Like I said I like the cleaner better for the job of thinning the paint.
