Thanks Leif, it's my first zero build and it's been a great one so far. Yes they are the kit decals, Airfix is using cartograf decals which are top notch.

It looks really nice so far.
Believe me Matt as soon you will build a Tamiya Zero you will think different about this kit 🙂 The canopy isnt glued yet or is it? Because there is some paint missing*g*😉

Haha soern not glued yet still got some things to do to finish her off. I have the hasegawa zero in my stash but not the tamiya one yet but I will definitely keep my eye out for it

The Hasegawa one is also nice but the Tamiya A6M is the best in the 1/72 scale (or better said all 4 kits of Tamiya).

It's a nice kit and I've almost built one myself. The build is halted for another build and Mojo loss. The Tamiya ones is in a whole different league than the Airfix one even if the Airfix kit is quite good.
