man, that looks nice so far... following with interest... how did you close the brass cone? soldering, and how did you bring the form over on the brass?

Thanks for your comments guys!It has been both challenging and quite funny build sofar.
To your question Bart: I cut circle of Plastruct sheet wider than the upper hole of the cone, glued a centerline tube in it, gave it a good CA coating and rammed it from the bottom of the cone up, till it got stuck in the walls.Then I added some scrap styrene on top of the circle and glued the final one-you won't see it in these pictures- that is wider than the upper hole of the cone.
Same happened to the bottom of the cone.
