I have started a double-project for this beautiful aircraft. The V1 and an A-0 will be build at the same time.
That seems to be a lovely kit, perfect fit and a adequate level of detail make me glad. I have enhanced the cockpits with wiring of the dashboard- this will be visible to a certain degree- and a some levers, seatbelts are by Eduard etched parts.

All major assembly groups have now been build up for both Ta-154. Further assembly will be seperate; I guess I will finish the V1 first.

Thank you Erik! The weight will just be enough I guess- you see the position of the rack under the fuselage? 🙂

You can see the finished fuselage and wings- ready for getting some paint on!
The wheel struts have been shortened about three millimeters to get that certain "Moskito-look"....
I am confident they will bear all the build in weight.

Holger, that´s true!
"RLM 76" has now been applied over a layer of preshading- you can see it on the still unpainted upper parts. The specific V1 camo with sharp contrasting RLM 74 und RLM 75 will make a real beauty out of this- so I hope at last!

A few new pics: all the colors have been attached and the applying of the decals have been prepared by enough- quite shiny- gloss clear....
Tomorrow I hope to get the decals on.

Thank you!
Today I got the decals done- a mixture from the Dragon box- printed by Carthograph- and those from the Revell box, those quite old and not really a pleasure to use....

Tomorrows work will see the glossiness of the surfaces reduced to the final degree. I am curious how it will stand on it´s tricycle undercarriage!

He mates! Both Ta-154 are finished by now! I would like to show you pictures of the V1 first- quite sleek and elegant lines as a think! I spent a lot of time in reducing all the little faults hidden in this otherwise beautiful kit 🙂
Thank you for your interest and comments!

Thank you both!
Oh yes, indeed! I did crop off a 3mm part on each of the oleos on the A0 to deepen that peculiar "sitting" of that bird.
The V1 you can see here is mostly documented as having it´s tanks not fully filled, therefore I did build it with unharmed oleos.
Thank you both!

Well Roland, another masterclass work 👍 And by the way, not a tail sitter because of tons of lead you put into the model 😄
