Hi Markus, Submarines have hooked me now. Next will be a Type VIIC in 1:144 with a lot of stuff from Griffon. This one was, lets say, for practice. I saw it, bought it and build it. And besides, Type XXIII is a very interesting sub-ject!😢

Hi Lode, yes in this particular case, weathering was the last step. I used Ammo of Mig washing for dark yellow vehicles for the wash and the rust streaks are done with Abteilung 502 oil paints. light and dark rust. Plus some red, blue and burnt umbra for the filter. All applyed as small dots with a toothpick and the smoothed with a flat brush soaked in lighter fluid.
