Thank you Julian Herreo and Michael Hickey. I bought this model at a model train swap meet. The engine was painted silver and the interior black. I painted over the engine with Ford blue and stripped the interior with DOT 3 brake fluid and painted it flat white and then added the wood grain panels and black carpeting. It is the first big block Mustang that I have ever built.

"The '70 Mustang Boss 429 showed just how important the high performance image was to Ford at the dawn of the 1970's. In sharp contrast to the well balanced Boss 302, Ford built the 429 with only one thing in mind - brute power. Moving from 0-60 in 6.8 seconds was all the proof anyone needed."
