Thanks Elias. Fitting is not too bad, even if the resin tail is designed to the Tamiya kit. Had to thin a little bit the inner fuselage, and to dig inside the tail in order to plug the wheel bay. The horizontal stabilizers come from a Tamiya donor kit...

Oooh, this one I must follow! Why? Well for a starter it just happens to be my favourite Mustang of them all and I plan to do Passion Wagon in 1:32 later on. Is it your 3D print and if so would it be possible to print one for me as well scaled up to 1:32? I'll pay of course...

Many thanks Urban. I have bought the figure via Shapeways, and she is available on different scale. Here is a link :

If 1/32 is not available, you can ask to the designer to up/downscale her...

Thanks mate! I need to think about it. I saw a lot of figures that have poses close to a lot of different nose arts.

Paintjob completed. Masking and painting the stripes was a challenging moment.

@Thomas: thanks ! For the checkerboard, I'm going to play it on the easy way, using the beautiful decals provided by EagleCals...😉

Thanks mates !
@Spanjaard: yes, you're right,The cherckerboard decals had been quite a pain in the a.. to set. After several panic moments, (French) bad words, and minor adjustments made with a small brush,.. the result is correct.

result is more than correct😉 pretty good indeed. i had similar fun with my P-51D, it had a very similar chequered decal... with a certain number of courses in maybe even different languages.... 😛

The good thing with being multilingual is having access to more words...

Continuing the decals stage... Using the EagleCals sheet, except for the pin-up, coming from the Kits-World sheet:

Working on the landing gear... preparing and detailing the SAC metal struts (I have broken one of the kit). The Brassin wheels are great, apart for a point: only 8 holes on the front face of the wheel flange, instead of 10 ! So, I have to cut, drill and sand the ones from Meng... PITA.
