Airfix King Tiger
Airfix have managed to pack a lot of detail into this kit.
Getting the basic camo down. Translating this from the schematic.
Thats the basic colours in place. Very rough just to get the placement right.
Second coat of yellow and green. Adding in some of the detail. You can certainly see the tiger stripes now. A very effective camouflage.

Finished it. A first go at tanks. Wow, 1/76 is sure small to work on..... challenging!

Hi Konrad. I'm not an armour guy either, usually. I got this as an Xmas present and thought I would have a go. I really enjoyed it. I could have added a lot more weathering etc but them planes are waiting in the stash. Might well do another one mind...

Thanks Andreas Koziol. Its cool isnt it! And very effective. From a distance its really hard to make out the tank at all.

Great job Mike👍 What an old veteran kit that really recalls childhood memories...
You made more than a lot of this crude base.. Love it!

Thanks Thomas and Neuling. Hi Daniel yes i guess it is a bit crude, but you can bring out the detail fairly easily. For someone new to tanks this would be a good place to start. Next up 1/35 i guess, like Raj Ms recent lovely build. Meanwhile -back to the planes. Cheers.
