Mig-15 over Korea
quick start - just a few bits and bobs
simple cockpit OOB
additional "frame rib" added for "in flight" stand
Unfortunately I have not take any photos after the closing the fuselage together. a little bit of putty here and there, sanding, polishing and base coat of Mr. Surfacer. After that - XF58 Olive green for the "green snakes" and 2 hours of masking
top coat of XF-59.
Masking was done with MRP Mr. Hyde Masking putty
after few minutes of drying, quick unmasking (and really easy while using MRP masking putty)
few correction needed here and there but overall I'm more than satisfied with the final result.
with the help of XF-85 Rubber black lower surfaces are finally painted.
on the lower wing - you can see marks where the holes for fuel tanks were. Not sure why they are this visible. The other wing is fine.
I will let this dry for a few days and then several cotes of gloss klear for decals
decals done, final matt coat in place.
all that is needed is the stand and the F86 Saber but that is for another time 🙂
I hope you like the result. See you on the next build. Cheers!

Thanks guys. Yes the masking putty is reusable. the oversprayed blob of masked snakes (picture with scissors) was mixed with the rest of the putty and the paint was absorbed.
