This is just your average AMT 69 Charger Daytona. This is the first model I ever clearcoated. It also the first ones I ever BMF’d. It was built pretty much box stock except for the wheels and tires. The rear tires are super wide Goodyear Blue Streak racing tires. The rims were widened by sanding off the backs of a pair of deep dish parts-bin rims and gluing the remaining rings to the rear pair of rims. Tubbing was not necessary as the chassis’s wheel wells were designed for this tire.
