Very nice build. Mine is on it's way on a slow boat from China. LOL.

Very nice! How did you like the kit? I built this one as well and really enjoyed building it. What paint did you use for the Eggplant Gray? I think I like your color a bit better than mine. I used MRP's Eggplant, but it is too purple I think. Mine is still too purple and I even toned it down with some light gray post-shading.

The eggplant color seems to be one of the "less stable" Russian inventions - From what I´ve been able to make out of my books & research, the purple tone is definitely there when fresh and new coats have a semi-gloss/satin touch, but it deteriorates quickly into matt grey and especially exposed in the sun into pale/light greys... The following pics (Su-34´s I could not quickly find respective 35´s...) show planes from Syria - the stars on the tails have been overpainted just before the action, so that layer has to be new, but allready looks aged & the rest of the aircraft shows even more bleaching...:

Aircraft from less barren parts of the world do not seem to suffer that much, but then most pics are from airshows where they use to showcase more fresh/clean stuff... Anyway, an interesting subject to explore 🙂

Interesting photos slavo, that is some major bleaching, must be the ozone hole😉 That opens some interesting weathering options...
