Maybe I'll buy me some PE-Parts next year
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/0/2/4/687024-55070-18-720.jpg)
Eddie taking seat for the first time. Left arm follows when I finish the cockpit.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/0/2/5/687025-55070-88-720.jpg)
The figure needed a few putty.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/0/2/6/687026-55070-71-720.jpg)
Revell should have produced this in clear plastics. So I used a drill and a knife to scoop out the glasses. After painting the frame i'll fill it with Humbrol Clearfix.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/0/2/7/687027-55070-61-720.jpg)
Starting with the seat.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/0/2/8/687028-55070-51-720.jpg)
I glued the parts F8 and F9 on the wrong sides, so I used Haulers PE-Saws to cut them off.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/0/2/9/687029-55070-19-720.jpg)
If you don't use too much glue, the barrs stay moveable.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/0/3/0/687030-55070-44-720.jpg)
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/0/3/1/687031-55070-30-720.jpg)
I use a small wire to keep the cannula clean. Bending it and the cap fits nice.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/1/6/8/688168-55070-60-720.jpg)
Had to make a notch into the yahu-panel to glue the vizor.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/1/6/9/688169-55070-38-720.jpg)
No problems with building the engine.

testfiting of the fuselage and wings.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/1/7/2/688172-55070-66-720.jpg)
Just a little gap at the tail. Also no prob.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/9/0/5/693905-55070-78-720.jpg)
Today I started to paint Eddie
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/9/0/6/693906-55070-82-720.jpg)
I also worked on the Cockpit
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/9/0/7/693907-55070-29-720.jpg)
At this size the seat looks much worse than in reality. Macro bad 🙁
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/0/7/8/740078-55070-74-720.jpg)
The sides of the Cockpit.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/0/7/9/740079-55070-56-720.jpg)
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/0/8/0/740080-55070-52-720.jpg)
Testfitting - nice
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/0/8/2/740082-55070-54-720.jpg)
What you can see...
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/0/8/8/740088-55070-97-720.jpg)
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/0/9/2/740092-55070-11-720.jpg)
Eddie is a big man, with big boots.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/0/9/6/740096-55070-75-720.jpg)
Testfitting, looks good.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/1/0/1/740101-55070-79-720.jpg)
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/0/7/1/740071-55070-88-720.jpg)
I finished the Figure.
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/0/7/2/740072-55070-68-720.jpg)
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/0/7/3/740073-55070-46-720.jpg)
I had to cut off the pedals and needed to the reduce the size of his boots from 48 to 34.
![Album image #29 Album image #29](/albums/img/0/7/4/740074-55070-29-720.jpg)
Eddie isn't Eric Brown, so his arms are too long for the small Cockpit.
![Album image #30 Album image #30](/albums/img/0/7/5/740075-55070-74-720.jpg)
I just don't close the cockpit. 😉
![Album image #31 Album image #31](/albums/img/0/7/6/740076-55070-96-720.jpg)
I made a Hood from paper and tesaband to close the cockpit with Eddie inside. One moore time filling the gaps with putty and I can start the paintjob.
![Album image #32 Album image #32](/albums/img/4/9/6/778496-55070-89-720.jpg)
After using putty from Vallejo I sprayed a layer of Tamiya Flat Alu. Looks good to me.
![Album image #33 Album image #33](/albums/img/4/9/7/778497-55070-55-720.jpg)
Where wings and fuselage meet... I had to use putty and a lot of sanding, now the rivets are gone 🙁
![Album image #34 Album image #34](/albums/img/4/9/8/778498-55070-54-720.jpg)
As I want to build the Stageversion I needed a 4-blade-prop. Revells Abteilung X was very kind 🙂
Just some putty on 2 of 4

I painted the panellines with Mr.Hobby Nr 81.
Took a long time just for this side and there's still the upper side.

The landing gear oob. But I want to show the Spit in flying condition.
![Album image #37 Album image #37](/albums/img/5/0/1/778501-55070-86-720.jpg)
Doesn't fit, of course...
![Album image #38 Album image #38](/albums/img/5/0/2/778502-55070-73-720.jpg)
That's all I need + the tire.
![Album image #39 Album image #39](/albums/img/5/0/3/778503-55070-78-720.jpg)
and some milliput
![Album image #40 Album image #40](/albums/img/5/0/4/778504-55070-46-720.jpg)
Now it looks like this.
![Album image #41 Album image #41](/albums/img/6/4/7/924647-55070-75-720.jpg)
Long time, no see...
Doesn't look like much, but took me a really long time.

![Album image #42 Album image #42](/albums/img/2/4/7/927247-55070-34-720.jpg)
Looks ok for me. Only the underside of the cowling needs another thin layer of Vallejo 71302 Sky type S.
![Album image #43 Album image #43](/albums/img/8/2/6/930826-55070-14-720.jpg)
I don't know what it is.
The Dark Green from Vallejo mixed with original thinner. After a few minutes it looks like this?

Spraying the Dark Green.
First it looks like Yellow. I need so much layers to make it look like Dark Green, so the preshading is gone... 🙁

I decided to remove the color on the upper site using spiritus.
It also went on the belly secured with Tese Sensitiv.

The Tamiya tape I used to secure the tail and the belt around the fuselage ripped off the clor too.
What a nice Day...

I feared, that the spiritus also attacked Eddie.
But he is safe.
And angry!
Time to kill some zombies for the rest of the weekend...

Made Masks from paper and fixed them with UHU Patafix.

Painted the dark green from Vallejo
![Album image #50 Album image #50](/albums/img/4/3/3/950433-55070-47-720.jpg)
Also on the sides.
Didn't make pics from painting the dark earth.

UHU Patafix changed the green colour. It made it lighter and shinier 🙁

Happy Christmas mates and welcome Munkyslut.
Today I got up pretty early to search the net for some blingbling for my Spitfire.
But after a while I found it would be more fun to build this kit ooB.
Just the Kit, the glue and me 🙂 and the stabilizers from Quickboost of course.

Some progress...
Fixed the marks UHU Patafix left. Pics of the current status later, it's to dark now.
