Revell 1/72 Panther Ausf.G 1945
After a bunch of aircraft, I was in the mood to build a tank! No better choice than the best medium tank of the war: the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther. Since I have another Dragon kit in the stash, I felt confident to experiment with some weathering.
The sprues look great! Everything looks crisp and clean. There was flash on only one actual part.
Unfortunately the barrel was not drilled out. A 1mm Pin Vise fixed that though.
Construction continued smoothly.
With models I typically like to create the best version of the vehicle. In this case, I went with a late Ausf. G which had a new chin mantlet, exhausts, and fan.
I sprayed Tamiya TS-3 dark yellow as my base. I was surprised at how smooth it went down, much better and faster than brush painting!
