It was needed to make holes to the chimneys. Because kit´s top part has no hole.

Preparation on semtex (anti-slip paint od board, used on WWII Royal Navy ships) aplication.
Semtex is applied. Finally. 🙂 I have tried many techniques, but oil paints combined with acrylic pencils won.

Superstructures are almost done.
Mid AA platform and Pom-poms are dry fitted. Pom-pom is reduced from 8-barrels (in the kit) to 4-barrels.
Now making of onboard boats awaits.
Some upgrades on the flagpoles is needed.
PE parts are on its place.

Very well done, clean. Get some fine EZLine, it's very easy to do a nice rigging job with EZ and it adds so much to the model.

Thanks guys. It was my "learning", "easy" and "cheap" project, before i jump on something more...
And I must say, I though it will be less tricky. 😄 But I enjoyed the build and now I'm looking forward to HMS Exeter. 🙂
