Polikarpov I-16 Type 24
The finish is AK Interactive Real Color RC309 AII Green on the upper surfaces with some of the metal panels painted in RC312 A-19F Green.
I wanted to use the kit decals for Boris Safanov, but when I put them on the kit they would not lay down. I used the stars from the I-15 and I-153 to represent an aircraft from the 67th IAP.
The undersurfaces are AK Interactive Real Color RC310 AII Light Blue with RC311 A-18F on some of the metal panels. The wheel retraction cable is Wonder Wire.
The MGs and pitot tube are Albion Alloys .7mm brass tubing. The kit provides an engine, engine mount and some internal parts if you want to display it with panels off.
The exhaust stubs are Albion Alloys .9mm brass tubing cut at a 45 degree angle.

Thanks. I'm partially color blind so the AK Interactive paints in the Soviet colors from the period really help me out.
