Btw, I think the box reference is wrong Tomcat. As this is the F-14D I think.

That turned out fantastic Clifford! You should be very proud, you tamed the Hasegawa F-14 beast and came away with a magnificent model.
Bravo!

Aft section rocks! The shine, the Cat, the brakes... what a nice combo. And the whole plane is really amazing, Clifford! 👍

Woah nice Clifford! I had to go cast this to my TV to have a close look. That's a beautiful result.

Thank you very much Michael, James, Sergei, Jos, Augie, Michael, Treehugger, Roland, Daniel, Donald, Nathan and Alexander. Your kind words mean a lot to me. All the trouble was worth it in the end. Would I build another ? Hell yes.

@ Treehugger, it is actually 3 colors of Gray, Light Ghost grey, Dark Ghost grey and Medium grey. Guess my weathering kind of blended them all together. This was my first time weathering with oils. Maybe I over did it a little. LOL.

Clifford, this happened to me aswel first time with oils. I figured out that in 72nd scale I am more exact with Tamiya Weathering sets. And in details and structures where I need lines, streaks and such, the AK weathering pencils suit me.
Maybe I am just too impatient to wait days with oils.

I have a heat gun, that I used to use to shrink the covering on my RC models, it is now used to dry my oils. LOL.

Did you try the future/X-21 flat coat recipe on this one Clifford?

Yes I did. I think it turned out pretty good, what do you think? I may have to tinker with it a little bit.
