Lovely surface finish. How did you make the airframe surface so smooth?
Is it just a metal finish, or is it also lacquer/gloss coat on top?

Thank you, it is airbushed with Revell enamel 90 (mixed with few drops of white 4 to have different panels) than polished with sand paper 6000 under water and finally polished with dry cotton t-shirt. Never use lacques/gloss coat on NMF finish you will lost nice metal effect. For polishing I found enamels far better as aqua colors. Martin

I have seen models that look weird with a smooth finish (because it looks like plastic somehow), but this one looks great I think. I am somewhat envious of your results. 😄

Yes it had bit toy look, but after gentle weathering with Revell pigments regarding historic pictures and different polishing levels (some panels more/some less) it received more realistic look...and thanks again 🙂
