You really know how to create athmosphere with your dios, there's a lot more to it than just cramping vehicles and figures onto a baseplate....
That „concrete" looks absolutely realistic, as well as the figures, Top notch !

Another masterpiece! 😮
I particularly like this dio, fabulous work. I've tried recreating concrete before without a lot of success (read - no success at all) but yours looks real!

Thank you gorbygould! Here I painted the bunker gray, then some washes in light brown and gray, painting some dots and streaks, then highlighting with light gray drybrushing until it looked okay for me. These Verlinden chunks are very tolerant for trial and error.

Top work again, Neuling. Very realistic. I like the first picture very much with the firing gun!

I knew it was only a matter of time until your manage to capture one of your dioramas actually working - I bet they were getting to life moving and playing tricks every time you looked away for some time...😉 Also happy to see the geopolitical layout of your Garden allows for the full range of conditions from Desert Storm to murky winter "dogwatch" atmosphere 👍 Great job once again, models, scene & atmo in the pics!

Thank you Jean-Michel and Slavo! Jean-Michel, when I got my new laptop with windows 10 I was surprised to find a kind of photoshop programm with many interesting features (for example creating effects of rain and snow fall, fire, explosion, impact, smoke and so on). Here I used it to fake a muzzle flash. - Slavo, my garden is situated in a Northern suburb of Regensburg, on a hill overlooking the town. With a little help from my friend photoshop it allows indeed enactment of many a battle ground from all over the world ( with special permit for stepping on Frau Neulings lawn, and - don`t tell - furtively in her flower bed).

Thank you in the name of the crew! They work hard to fend off the many Allied Tiefflieger. - Olivier I just found this program on my computer. It costs no extra money. It is not Adobe Photoshop, rather probably from microsoft called OneDrive.

Onedrive is a cloud storage app.
Ah I see what you mean. You can even add flying bats to your image...

Oliver, you can also use GIMP under ubuntu (both free, and ubuntu can be installed alongside your usual operating system). GIMP can give you huge amount of possibilities

Thank you Stefan, Remco and Zach! - Spanjaard, can you tell me where or how I got this feature from? It just was there when I had imported my photos from the camera. Is it part of the standard package of windows 10?

Gimp, according to Spanjaard, is a Ubuntu (in other words Linux) program. To use it you must first download the Linux-Ubuntu OS and use it parallel to Windows. But I am sure he'll be able to tell you much more. I was just trying to show I new a little about IT. 😉

i am afraid i can not tell what you are using Neuling. but usually there is an "about" menu, where you can probly click and get the version number etc, and the name of the program.

I completely missed this one. The texturing on the concrete looks amazing and is superbly painted and weathered. I also like the flesh colour tones you've done on the exposed skin of the gun crew. Fantastic looking diorama and fabulous pictures once again👍👍👍

Thank you mates for giving me valuable advice in dealing with my computer! Being still a Neuling at it I found out though that I´ve been working with "Microsoft photos for Windows 10" (Paint3D seems to be part of it). - James, your kind comment is very much appreciated. Thank you!
