USS Randolph (CV-15) - 1945

The photo that inspired it all - Barrett Gallagher’s shot of the Randolph launching a strike on 10 August 1945. 

Primed parts from the kit as well as sprues G and M from a Dragon Princeton (CV-37) that I need for the 7 40mm quads added in January 1945. 

Everything’s in Navy Blue except the hangar, which has white walls and Gunship Gray FS36118 deck, which is close match for weathered Deck Blue. Forecastle also has deck picked out in gray.
