Album info
Did you know that the USSR flew P-47s in WWII? Through the Lend-Lease Act, the United States delivered thousands of aircraft to the Soviet Union, but only around 200 P-47s. The P-47 had excellent high altitude characteristics thanks to its massive turbo-supercharger, but the Soviets’ use of them was limited. This scale replica, built by Tomislav Mikojević, shows a moment in time when a newly built P-47 was in the process of being delivered to its new home.
