It's a fun kit Ben. But, being very old, I think the plastic as warped a lot. I need to use the clamps aswell as the putty a lot more than I expected on a Hasegawa kit.

Thank you Roland. It's soon going to be ready for the paint booth.
I got to use this Magnifying helmet I got as a gift. Very useful for installing small PE parts.

Thank Guy & Spanjaard
I was under the impression that the P-38 had flush rivet that was not seeable, I was surprise to discover how many there were. But that what I like bout the WW2 era.: A lot of rivets and a lot of small windows.

Thank Micheal.
I'm mostly done with painting and have about 2 or 3 decals to had and I'll be ready the weather the models.
On the decals: I always had the worst experience with old Hasegawa Decals. This one was even worst. If I had to move the decal more than 2mm to adjust it's position, it would crack or decompose. At some point I apply old almost non sticky blue tac over a decal that was covered in varnished. It went away with the blue tac! I had to touch up the nose art with paint to make it look ok. Once they had dried, to slightest breeze would have then flying away, I lost few this way & I had to vanished the decal almost immediately after applying them.
At least the kit was a lot better than it's decals.
Thank Micheal.
