Nice job. I have this kit and my concern is masking and painting that boot stripe. Good job there.

Fairly easy to do with this model (and I usually hate doing masking) and everything fit well, but you need to check after you paint some parts as some are a bit thight. My main problem came with the gravity color yellow paint, its the perfect color for the CR.7, but you need so many coats! I really appreciate that they already painted part of the windows...save a lot of time and masking.

You did a great job! The decals I found of very good quality and took me 5 hours and a gallon decal solution to apply. Even with a low parts count, the engine and interior are well detailed.

I applied them almost without solution, I learn by experience that bad decals react poorly to microsol, especially the decals from Revell USA. I really appreciate this kit tho.

Chris I saw that you did the german version, the decals are different quality. For example, on my version, the little arrow+hatch that go on the windows were too transparent when place on black color. you also got more decals I think (a belt at least). I have some german revell kits (like the chevelle SS), will try to do them in the coming months, curious about the quality, especially the decals.

By far the best model I build from Revell. Everything fit really well, except some minor things. You need to glue the body to the framework, otherwise there is a lot of gaps.
Used the dedicated yellow from Gravity color: you'll need a lot of coats with this paint. I add some details in the cockpit, but sadly you barely see them once built.
As usual with Revell USA, the decals are the weakest part. A couple of minor decals dont show on black and some are very fragile and very thin (like the corvette logo on the front window). But in the end I got great results. Very cool looking racing car.
