The house definitely needs a trap door on the roof. A little extra activity over there would make it more lively too.

yeah, I thought the same about the trapdoor so I actually added it. do you think I should actually put a wooden trapdoor, or would it look too fantasy-like? I also want to add some kind of tent on the roof, held up by wooden poles.

An alternative to a trap door could be a staircase up one side, or even just a shabby wooden ladder type structure to get you to the roof. Either would make more of a feature to the right hand side perhaps where a figure could be sat on a step maybe.
