A small and quick project after summer break. ICM quality leaves something to be desired but I'll soldier on.

Here are cockpit parts with which I tried my first wash - using regular oil paints diluted with plenty of white spirit. While oils themselves worked fine, snugging right along the raised edges, it also left other areas looking dirty after I cleaned extra wash away.
Perhaps I used too much wash so that it spread where it was not supposed to. Or perhaps I should have coated parts with clear lacquer first. Don't know but live and learn...

I am now gluing the fuselage and swearing at ICM - fit is not very good and with no locating pins it's not so easy. But I am getting there, step by step.

Top halves of the wings have now been glued to bottom half and I also dry fitted finished wing with the fuselage. It is going to require some serious sanding to get it to fit and have proper dihedral angle for the wing.

Complete. Instructive experience and I am quite satisfied both with the journey and the destination.

Thank you - if you wonder about the choice of subject, it was solely down to the price of the kit. I wanted to experiment and learn without concern over cost even if model would end up in the bin.
